Update: Ending HIV Pride Parade Float

We're getting really close to launching the Ending HIV float into the Auckland Pride Parade on Saturday 25 February! Daniel Williams, our float director, has been beavering away creating a fantastic float, with lots of silvery bling – it is going to look amazing and be a great opportunity to raise awareness for action on HIV in New Zealand.

If you are marching up the front of the float: Meet up at the NZAF offices, 31 Hargreaves Street, St Mary's Bay, at 4pm on Saturday, 25 February. We will spend some time going through the moves, and making sure everyone has their costume organised (it will be shorts, a sandwich board and/or a crop top). Check out the training video to get an idea of the moves we’ll be doing – thank you Phoebe (our choreographer).

Marshals (that’s anyone who has done the Marshal training this year – at Grey Lynn Library Hall last week) please come to the NZAF at 4pm for a briefing. Marshals need to be at the float by 5.30 to be ready for registration.

Just want to walk with the float? Please come to the NZAF between 4 and 5.30pm on Saturday to pick up an Ending HIV T-shirt. We also ask that you wear black shorts or pants. You can bring anyone with you – don’t worry if they haven’t registered online, the more the merrier. If you're any later than 5.30pm due to other committments, we will have a limited number of T-shirts with us - come meet us at the muster area outside Candy Nails, 291 Ponsonby Road before 6pm.

Join our Facebook group if you haven’t already!
