Volunteer for Ending HIV at the Big Gay Out!
The Ending HIV Big Gay Out is New Zealand's largest and most fabulous Rainbow Community event, and as someone who has shown their support for ending new HIV transmissions in Aotearoa, we would love your support by volunteering at the Big Gay Out.
With your help we can make the 20th Anniversary of the Big Gay Out the biggest, gayest and most fabulous yet! Here’s everything you need to know:
When and where?
Sunday the 10th of February at Coyle Park in Point Chevalier.
On Sunday, we'll need more than 100 volunteers between 6:30am and 7pm. We have three-hour shifts allocated throughout the day, so choose the ones that suit you best!
What will I be doing?
We have a mix of volunteer roles on the day, from collecting donations, handing out condoms, or being an awesome assistant, there will be a range of things you can do to help. We are also looking for queer guys (cis or trans) who have sex with other guys to be a part of our Stay Safe zone. Send us an email if you'd like to talk about your preferred HIV prevention method at the BGO!
