Walk-Ins Welcome at New Drop-In Clinics

image description

The New Zealand AIDS Foundation (NZAF) is introducing a new drop-in testing clinic every Wednesday and Saturday in Auckland and Wellington and every Wednesday in Christchurch. No appointment is needed - just walk in. Appointments for this free, confidential HIV and syphilis test are approximately 15-20 minutes.

The HIV test involves a simple finger prick to draw blood and is delivered by trained specialists who are there to support you through the process.

Triaging will be required to check if you are eligible to test with us on the day – please understand that if we’re unable to test you, it’s not because we don’t want to help. If you would still like to get tested you can still speak with your GP/medical centre/family doctor or find other options with our test booking tool.

STI testing is also available. Please note that if you have symptoms of an STI, or someone you've had sex with has told you that they have an STI, we are unable to diagnose or provide treatment at our Drop-in service. Please go directly to a sexual health clinic, a medical clinic or your GP for diagnosis and treatment.
