How To Use an HIV Home Test

HIV Home Testing is now available in New Zealand!

As of December 1st, Home Testing is now an option for some people who book an HIV Test through the Ending HIV or NZAF websites. The test consists of an oral swab (no finger pricks or blood), and results are usually available in 20 minutes.

We've put together this instructional guide, which you can watch and follow along once your test has arrived.

Please note that you should not eat, drink, or brush your teeth for at least 30 minutes before you begin the test.

If you have any questions about the home testing process, please get in touch with us at [email protected]
