Māori and Pacific Islanders Wanted for PrEP Study

The Auckland PrEP trial is looking for more Māori and Pacific Islander participants. If you're Māori or PI, and aren't always using condoms for anal sex, you could be eligible for free PrEP - a daily pill that protects from HIV.

NZ PrEP is a study developed by Auckland Regional Sexual Health Service, in collaboration with NZAF and others. The study will test the effectiveness of PrEP in New Zealand, adding to the evidence from other trials, including those in Australia. The findings of the New Zealand PrEP pilot study will be used to support the case for goverment funding of the drug here.

You can learn more about PrEP here.

If you're interested in participating in the study or just want to ask some questions, hit up Whati via email - [email protected]
